What if I buy now and house prices drop?

Let's say you bought your house for $550,000 today and the real estate market softens and it’s only worth $500,000 in 6 months, what then?

Obviously a concern and possibility for a buyer.

But, it doesn't really matter unless you need to sell in 6 months.

The market will go up and down throughout the whole time you own it.

Trying to time the market is nearly impossible.

We only truly know when we’ve reached the bottom or top of the market AFTER it’s come and gone!

Ultimately, if you’re getting into the real estate market today, hopefully, you aren’t planning on selling anytime soon. 

Long term investing is always the best strategy.
